This Equestrian Workshop's activities include:
Mediation and Yoga for Riders Class: Susan Rizer will help you discover the power of mindfulness and relaxation techniques specifically tailored for equestrians. Enhance your mind-body connection and find inner balance. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and towels for extra support for this class.
Using Curiosity to Improve Your Relationship with Your Horse: Susan Lafferty is going to help you learn how curiosity can deepen your bond with your horse. Explore new ways to communicate, understand and connect on a deeper level.
Feldenkrais Class: Barb Dow is an athletic trainer, guild certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (CM), and Feldenkrais Guild of Somatic Education. Experience the Feldenkrais Method, a gentle movement practice that can improve your body awareness, posture, and overall riding performance. The Feldenkrais Method is also beneficial for pain relief and rewiring new neural connections to help your body move with greater efficiency and engage muscle to help prevent injury. Please bring a thick blanket or exercise mat for this class.
How Can Massage Help Your Ride: Kelly Lackey, Licensed Massage Therapist will explore the benefits of massage therapy and how it can enhance your well-being and performance. Learn practical techniques to incorporate into your self-care practice.
Go for the Gut: Do you, the rider, have any or some of these things like; constipation, boating, fatigue, sleep issues, hot flashes, moodiness, weight loss resistance, brain fog and more?
Anke Johnson- Board Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and Board-Certified Life/Health/Leadership Coach will help you gain insight into what you can do to optimize rider nutrition for a better ride for you and your horse.
