About Elsa's Acres: We are a compassionate 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to granting animals in need a loving sanctuary to call their own. Our mission is to provide a safe and secure forever home for farm animals who have faced challenging circumstances. Our diverse family of animals currently includes 28 incredible rescue and acquired animals. From majestic horses and adorable pigs to playful goats, (tempermental) geese (and our mascot dogs and cats) you'll ever meet. Our hearts are full with the love we share for these characters, caring for such a wonderful array of animals can be a demanding endeavor. It can take a toll on us both financially and emotionally. That's why, with the guidance of a dear friend, we established our non-profit sanctuary. Through Elsa's Acres, we aim to ensure that our existing animal residents and many more to come will always have a forever home filled with love and care. Our sanctuary bears the name Elsa's Acres, inspired by our beloved farm dog, Elsa. In 2010, Elsa and her siblings were rescued from an unimaginable situation, and she became the shining light that sparked our dedication to animal welfare.
